The SACAA is taking applications for the 12 months In-Service Training Programme. The successful interns will participate in a 12 months In-Service Training Programme to gain work experience.


NB: The monthly stipend excludes accommodation, transport and meals.

About

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is a Schedule 3A public entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (“PFMA”). It was established on the 1st of October 1998, following the enactment of the now repealed South African Civil Aviation Authority Act,1998 (Act No.40 of 1998).

The Authority is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Minister of Transport and is representative of aviation industry, management and business expertise. Through a Performance Agreement with the Minister, the Board is accountable for the performance of the Authority in carrying out its statutory functions and achieving objectives. The National Department of Transport will monitor the activities of the Authority.
Requirements

– A Degree or National Diploma in the following fields

  • Legal
  • Accidents and Incidents Investigations
  • Library Science
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Aviation Security
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering and
  • General Administration
